SAN JOSE, Sporting Alert – Angel Di Maria has moved closer to leaving EPL with the latest news now saying a €63m fee has been agreed between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to French daily newspaper L’Equipe, Manchester United have agreed to sell the unhappy midfielder who struggled in his opening season in the English Premier League.
The report said a five-year contract has also been offered to the player, but it does not include any additional bonuses.
Di Maria was scheduled to join up with Manchester United in San Jose for the pre-season tour of the United States on Saturday, but manager Louis van Gaal revealed the Argentine international never board the plane and he didn’t know why.
Now L’Equipe is saying the player will not be returning to Old Trafford this summer as he’s on his way to the Parc des Princes.
The report added that negotiations between Manchester United and PSG have been going for a week over the phone and it is only a matter of time now before he arrives in Paris.
