LeBron James leads Miami past Dallas in overtime; Miami 119, Dallas 109

MIAMI (Sporting Alert) – LeBron James poured in a double-double of 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists and the Miami Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks 119-109 in overtime on Wednesday night.

James has now scored at least 20 points in all his 30 games this season.

O.J. Mayo led the Mavericks with 30 points and six assists in the very close battle here at the American Airlines Arena.

Dwyane Wade finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat (22-8), which collected 17 points from Chris Bosh and 15 points and seven boards from Ray Allen off the bench.

Dirk Nowitzki continues to show improvement after returning recently from injury and he ended the night with a season-high 19 points, including the tying Dallas basket which forced overtime with 3.9 seconds left.

He finished with 7-15 shooting from the field and pulled down to six boards in the defeat for Dallas.

Vince Carter had 15 points Chris Kaman had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Darren Collison chipped in with 11 points for the Mavericks (13-20).
