MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — There are eight Barclays Premier League games on the schedule for Saturday, with leaders Manchester United looking to extend its EPL lead in the points standings.

Manchester United will look to go 15 points clear at the top of the EPL standings with a win over Norwich at Old Trafford, as second place Manchester City doesn’t play until Monday when they travel to face Aston Villa.

Interim manager Rafael Benitez will coach his Chelsea at home for the first time since criticizing the club’s fans and hierarchy after the English FA Cup win in midweek.

Chelsea, who were beaten by Manchester City last week, will entertain West Bromwich Albion as they seek to replace Tottenham in third place.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Everton will face Reading at Goodison Park in a game they must win if they still have hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Southampton host bottom place QPR at St. Mary’s Stadium, Fulham travel to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland, League Cup champions Swansea face Newcastle at Liberty Stadium, Wigan entertains Liverpool and Stoke take on West Ham at the Britannia Stadium.
