Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California

The LA Lakers (25-29) enter the contest after losing 125-101 to the Los Angeles Clippers just before the All-Stars break last Thursday, but have put that defeat behind them and are looking forward to taking on the Celtics.
Kobe Bryant and Lakers have won eight of its previous 12 games, but one of those four defeats was a 116-95 loss to the Celtics on Feb. 7. Bryant did score 27 points and seven rebounds in that defeat, Paul Pierce, who scored 24 and Jeff Green, who had 19 piloted the hosts to the win at TD Garden.
Boston (28-25) has also dropped its last game, losing 97-90 to the Denver Nuggets, but has won eight of the previous ten, despite being without the injured Rajon Rondo (ACL), Leandro Barbosa (ACL) and Jared Sullinger (back surgery), who are all out for the rest of the season.
Following the defeat to the Nuggets, Pierce said: “We got stagnant with ball movement. We just didn’t make the adjustment.
“A little too much one-on-one. On the other end, we didn’t get key stops.
“We fouled a little bit too much. Every crucial possession that we needed a stop, we didn’t get the stop that we needed and they were able to pull away.”
