No. 1 Alabama goes in search of their sixth successive win this season and 16th straight in the regular season, when it takes on No. 16 Arkansas at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.
The Crimson Tide (5-0) beat the Razorbacks (4-1) last season, 27-14 and start Saturday’s game 84.6-percent favourites to win on the road, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.
No. 2 ranked Ohio State, a team many are backing as one of the favourites to win the College Football Playoff Championship this campaign, plays host to Indiana at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
The Buckeyes (4-0), who face No. 11 Wisconsin next week, have a 97.7 percent chance of earning a 20th straight win over Indiana, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.
However, Urban Meyer has warned his players not to get carried away by the build-up predictions, especially since they will face and Indiana (3-1) team that is coming off a 24-21 win over then-No. 17 Michigan State.
Ohio State defeated the Hoosiers 34-27 last term.
The fifth-ranked Washington (5-0) has been in great form this season and will seek to extend its winning streak when it comes up against the struggling an Oregon (2-3) side that dropped its last three games.
Washington has lost 12 straight in the series, but ESPN’s Football Power Index is predicting them to easily snap the streak.
According to FPI, the Huskies, who are ranked in the top 15 in offensive, defensive and special-teams efficiency, have a 78-percent chance to hand the Ducks a fourth defeat in a row.
In other college football Week 6 games on the schedule, No. 20 Oklahoma and Texas will meet at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, No. 6 Houston is at Navy, No. 25 Virginia Tech tackles No. 17 North Carolina, No. 9 Tennessee travels to face No. 8 Texas A&M, while No. 23 Florida State and No. 10 Miami battles at Hard Rock Stadium.
Meanwhile, the clash between No. 18 Florida and LSU has been postponed due to the looming impact of powerful Hurricane Matthew across the state of Florida.
