(Sporting Alert) — Ravel Morrison starts today for West Ham United in their English Premier League (EPL) clash with Southampton on the road at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Morrison, a former Manchester United youth player, was handed his first Premier League start for Sam Allardyce side, as a replacement for the injured Stewart Downing in West Ham’s one change from the side that featured in the last outing.
The Hammers are still without forward Andy Carroll, while Ricardo Vaz Te is only on the bench again.
Meanwhile, Southampton made three adjustments from the side that was beaten at Norwich City, as Nathaniel Clyne, Luke Shaw and Jay Rodriguez all come into the starting team, replacing Calum Chambers, Danny Fox and James Ward-Prowse.
Former Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama also starts today for Southampton.
