MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Derrick Rose remains a game time decision for the Chicago Bulls for tonight’s NBA clash against arch-rivals Miami Heat.
Rose has been bothered by a sore right foot which has caused him to sit out a major section of the Bulls abbreviated season and he will be check on prior to the start of the game to see if he can go.
A victory for Chicago Thursday night at the AmericanAirlines Arena would see them sealing the No. 1 seeded spot in the Eastern Conference with just four games left in the regular season.
Miami Heat are 2-1 down in the series this season and the Bulls, not playing their best basketball at times – will seek to take a dominant 3-1 series win and a third successive victory this campaign.
Star forward Luol Deng, who joined Rose on the injured list for Wednesday night’s dominating 100-68 win over the Charlotte Bobcats is also a game time decision.
Deng is battling a rib injury, but is determined to play.
