Liverpool Fixtures For 2016/17 Season, Game Times

ANFIELD, Sporting Alert – Liverpool fixtures for the 2016/17 Premier League have been released, and below is the complete list of games, dates and kick-off times.

The Premier League fixtures kick-off on August 13 and 14 with a number of appetizing matchups.

For the Reds, their opening game of the season will be one of the highlighted clashes, as it comes against fellow title chasers Arsenal.

Jürgen Klopp will begin his first full English campaign with a trip to Emirates Stadium in what is arguably the most enticing opening day game in the forthcoming campaign.

The Liverpool fixtures will conclude on May 21 at home against the newly promoted Middlesbrough.

Additionally, there will also be check marks on every Reds’ fans calendar for the Merseyside derby against Everton, and these dates will be on December 17 at Goodison Park and at Anfield on April 1.

If Klopp’s side is going to be in the mix for the title this season, then it will need to push through some very tricky early Premier League fixtures, as four of the opening five matches coming against teams expecting to challenge for the league trophy.

Following the away matchup with the Gunners, Liverpool will take on promoted side Burnley at home before preparing for three complex contests.

Tottenham Hotspur will entertain their title rivals on August 27, before Liverpool play host to the defending champions Leicester City at Anfield on September 9.

Chelsea, under new manager Antonio Conte, will then welcome Klopp’s men at Stamford Bridge on September 17.

Other highlighted Premier League fixtures for Liverpool include the home game against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United on October 15, the December 12 trip to West Ham United and the clash at Manchester City during the Christmas period on December 31.

The first game on Liverpool fixtures for 2017 come on January 1 on the road against Sunderland.

Two of the Reds’ final three games of the season will be at home.

Liverpool were beaten finalists in both the Capital One Cup and Europa League last term with Klopp in charge.
