James has been criticized for his pregame warmup routines, which involves a series of dunks, with several fans claiming that he should stop doing his routine if he wasn’t going to enter the dunk contest.

However, former Los Angeles NBA superstar Johnson, who is now a television analyst,  believes James should continue doing what he does because it bring entertainment to the fans in the arenas.

Johnson has also called on the Miami Heat star to transfer that entertainment to All-Star weekend and compete in the Slam Dunk Contest.

He said during the ESPN Pregame show on Friday night: “Please LeBron get into the dunk contest.

Johnson added: “I’m going to put $1,000,000. Yea a million dollars from Magic to LeBron. Please go into the dunk contest.”

LeBron James and the Miami Heat will take on the Memphis Grizzles at the American Airlines Arena tonight in a game that could bring a playoff-like excitement.

Miami enters the game with a 12 game winning streak, but was beaten by Memphis when the two sides last met.
