De Bruyne, who had a frustrating FIFA World Cup with Belgium, was slipped in down the left and he clips a lovely ball into the Liverpool box for Haaland to rush onto ahead of Joe Gomez and prod home past Caoimhin Kelleher at the near post.
Liverpool collected an equalizer against the run of play when Jurgen Klopp’s side ventured forward down the right. Centerback Joël Matip strides out of defence and then finds James Milner in the box, who turns almost freely to slide a pass for Fábio Carvalho in the box, who strides past City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega in the bottom corner.
