Manchester City beat Newcastle 2-0, move close to Premier League title

(Sporting Alert) — Manchester City took another giant step towards lifting the Barclays Premier League title on Sunday, following their 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on the road.

Roberto Mancini’s side, which led defending champions Manchester United on goal difference coming into today’s clash with Newcastle, beat the hosts 2-0.
