Manchester City ignores reports, named Kolo Toure in squad

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Manchester City has ignored the media reports surrounding the private life of Kolo Toure and included the defender in their team for today’s Premier League clash against Chelsea.

Toure, according to the Mirror, has been having an affair with a young model by the name of centre-back.

Toure has since denied the reports and allegations made against him – with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini looking past those press reports and naming as one of the back-up defenders for the game here on Sunday.

The 31-year-old is on the bench alongside the likes of Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, Maicon and Samir Nasri.

He’s not expected to play any part in the game, but with a defender shortage at City at the moment, Mancini was taking no chances at approaching the game with any back-up on his substitutes bench.
