MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Joe Hart returns to the starting lineup for Manchester City in tonight’s Barclays Premier League clash with Wigan at Etihad Stadium.
The England international was on the bench in Sunday’s FA Cup win over Chelsea, but is back in goal for the defending champions with Costel Pantilimon back on the bench.
Manager Roberto Mancini also made adjustments to his back line with Micah Richards coming back from injury to play at right-back.
There were starting places too for Aleksandar Kolarov and Joleon Lescott, with defensive midfielder Javi Garcia coming into the starting XI for the home clash.
Samir Nasri and Sergio Aguero, who scored the goals on Sunday start as well.
Meanwhile, Joel Robles returns in goal for Wigan as the visitors changed their goalkeeper from the side that won in the FA Cup semi-final.
Manchester United on loan forward Angelo Henriquez is on the bench, so too is Callum McManaman, but Franco di Santo Arouna Kone, Shaun Maloney and James McCarthy all start.
