MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Under pressure manager David Moyes made five changes to his Manchester United side for today’s Barclays Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
Returning to the starting lineup are Nemanja Vidic, Ashley Young, Darren Fletcher and Shinji Kagawa, as well as left-back Alex Buttner, who starts in place of Patrice Evra.
Wayne Rooney will lead the attack, with Juan Mata expected to play just behind him in the No. 10 role.
Ryan Giggs, Nani and Michael Carrick are all amongst the subs.
Meanwhile for Aston Villa, they make two changes from the side that was suffered a 4-1 home hammering by Stoke City, with centre-back Ciaran Clark and winger Marc Albrighton coming into the starting XI.
The attacking line is again led by Christian Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor, with Andreas Weimann also offering support.
