MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) – Wilfried Zaha looks set to complete a £15 million transfer move from Crystal Palace to Manchester United, following reports that a deal has been struck.
Zaha has been heavily linked with a move to the English Premier League leaders since the start of the January transfer window, and it now looks like that deal will actually go ahead.
It is understood that the Crystal Palace winger and his advisor Will Salthouse are traveling to have personal discussions with Manchester United before undergoing a medical with the Red Devils in the next 48 hours.
Zaha was watched by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson when took played Crystal Palace FA Cup third round replay last week, while the boss’ assistant Mike Phelan was at Burnley recently to watch him play in a Championship game.
The England international was also said to be an Arsenal transfer target, but Arsene Wenger has denied having an interest in signing the player.
It is understood that the 20-year-old will immediately be loaned back to Crystal Palace to finish out the season with the npower Championship side.
