MANCHESTER — Anthony Martial returns to the Manchester United starting lineup for today’s clash with the visiting Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
Martial missed the 3-1 win over Huddersfield in midweek because of illness, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided to hand the French a place in his first XI today.
Altogether, Solskjaer makes four changes from the side that won at home on Boxing Day.
Besides Martial, Ashley Young returns to captain the side at right-back, with Eric Bailly and Ander Herrera also coming in.
Out of the team goes Juan Mata, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones and Fred.
Romelu Lukaku is back in the side after missing the first two games of Solskjaer caretaker tenure, but the Belgian is only on the bench.
Meanwhile, there are three changes to the Bournemouth line-up that was thumped 5-0 against Tottenham last time out.
Diego Rico replaces injured captain Simon Francis at left wing-back, while Jordon Ibe and former Manchester United forward Josh King are also recalled.
Ryan Fraser and Jefferson Lerma drop to the bench as manager Eddie Howe looks to get the Cherries back on track.
