MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) – Manchester United is set to replace Ashley Young at half-time after the winger failed to shake off an injury during the first half of the English Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Young collided with Daniel Agger midway through the first half and has not been able to move freely.
The England international has also been a huge disappointment for the leaders and bring on Anotonio Valencia will more good than harm to Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
Robin van Persie, meanwhile, finished off a nice bit of passing from the Manchester United midfielders to give the Red Devils a 1-0 lead at the break.
