(Sporting Alert) — Shinji Okazaki scored twice, while Manchester United’s Shinji Kagawa also netted in Japan’s 4-2 victory over New Zealand in their friendly football international clash on Wednesday.

Okazaki took advantage of some sloppy defending and poor goalkeeping to fire Japan into the lead in the 4th minute after beating the off-side trap to take down a delightful pass from Kagawa before sliding home past the rushing Glen Moss.
Kagawa then made it 2-0 in the eighth-minute when he scored from the penalty spot, placing the ball well out of the reach of Moss.
It turned 3-0 in no time, as defender Masato Morishige nodded home a free-kick taken by Keisuke Honda.
Kagawa and Honda both combined to setup Okazaki’s second goal and Japan’s fourth in the 17th minute.
Chris Wood scored the the first of his two goals for New Zealand in the 39th minute to make it 4-1 at half-time, and then volleyed home in the 80th to make it 4-2.
