Mata dropped, Torres starts: Chelsea v Fulham Teams

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Oriol Romeu and Ryan Bertrand both make surprising starts for Chelsea in tonight’s Barclays Premier League game against Fulham at Stamford Bridge.

The pair replaced Juan Mata and Jon Mikel Obi as now manager Rafa Benitez made two adjustments to the Chelsea team that drew 0-0 at home with Manchester City on Sunday.

As expected, the out of form Fernando Torres starts up front again with Eden Hazard and Oscar being his attacking help int he search for goals.

Fulham, at the sometime made three changes from the starting team that suffered defeat to Stoke at the weekend.

Chris Baird, Mladen Petric and Ashkan Dejagah were dropped from the side, with Mahamadou Diarra, Hugo Rodallega and Damien Duff coming in at their replacements.
