DRESDEN, Germany, Sporting Alert — Kylian Mbappe netted a brace and Paris Saint-Germain brushed aside Dynamo Dresden 6-1 in a one-sided pre-season friendly encounter on Tuesday at DDV-Stadion.
Mbappe, who has been linked with a move away from the French champions, opened the scoring in the sixth minute when he raced away from his markers and chipped over the goalkeeper.
Julian Draxler doubled the lead in the 18th minute when he broke the offside trap and slotted home into the bottom corner of the goal.
Mbappe made it 3-0 in the 34th minute before Arthur Zagre, Virgiliu Postolachi and Adil Aouchiche completed the scoring in the second half.
Moussa Kone grabbed a consolation goal for Dynamo Dresden from the penalty spot in the 76th minute.
The game saw Ander Herrera, who recently joined Paris Saint-Germain from Manchester United, making his debut for the French side, while the likes of Thomas Meunier, Juan Bernat, Marco Verratti and Jese all featured in the game.
Paris Saint-Germain will head back to France to continue preparations for the upcoming season, but will return to Germany on Saturday for a friendly against Nuremberg.
