Expect Kevin Durant v LeBron James Highlights In Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sporting Alert) — LeBron James is excelling at a record level that brings fear in the eyes of his opponents. The Miami Heat star forward, who again has been mentioned at the same level as the great Michael Jordan, has set himself apart this season with a series of dominating performances.

Follow Live on ESPN Radio and Watch Live on TNT: Heat vs Thunder, at 7:15 p.m. ET

James, at the moment, has an active NBA record of six straight games with at least 30 points while shooting at 60 percent or higher, and he will take this dominating and exciting form to the Chesapeake Energy Arena here Oklahoma City to face the Thunder (39-13).

The game will be the second repeat of last year’s championship game, after the Miami Heat (35-14) stole the first and only meeting between the two sides this season on Christmas Day.

The contest will see James, who has knocked down 60 of his last 80 field-goal shots, going up against another of the NBA’s sharp shooters in Kevin Durant from the Thunder, and the Miami star is looking forward to the well anticipated battle.

“It’s really fun. I think both teams accept the challenge,” said James. “Both teams also know it doesn’t define the season, win, lose or draw.

“I think both teams want to continue to get better and end on a high note going into the break. But we’re not going to put added pressure on it.

“We understand the magnitude of the game. We understand what they’re going to come with and we will be ready for it.”

Oklahoma City Thunder, who have been very impressive at home with a 23-3 record at the Chesapeake, are coming off a disappointing 109-94 defeat against the Utah Jazz, a game Durant led all scorers with 33 points.

As I said before, if there is nothing else worth looking forward to on Thursday night, then the expected Durant v James highlights must draw your attention
