(Sporting Alert) – Celtic manager Neil Lennon has made four changes to the side that was beaten 1-0 at Hibernian for the Scottish Premier League game against Motherwell.

Captain Scott Brown has been dropped from the side altogether with reports claiming that the defender carrying a slight injury and Lennon doesn’t want to take any chances in the last game before the winter break.
Kris Commons makes a welcome return from injury and will start, while striker Georgios Samaras is also amongst the starters tonight, as Celtic look to maintain its healthy lead at the top of the league.
Mikael Lustig and Thomas Rogne were two of the players making way, with the latter on the bench.
Meanwhile, Motherwell have left top striker Michael Higdon on the bench today for the contest.
Higdon has scored 13 goals so far for Motherwell this season.
