The starting lineups for today’s Christmas Day NBA matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics at TD Garden. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum will lead their respective teams and you can watch all the action live on ABC with the tip-off time set for 5:00 pm ET.
Khris Middleton missed the last four games with a knee injury and was listed as doubtful for this game. The team report shows that the 31-year-old guard will miss his 5th straight game with right knee soreness. The team also reported that Middleton will continue to take the next few days to rest and could return when the Bucks face the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
Pat Connaughton has been handed a place in the starting lineup today for the Bucks after averaging 7.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game during the last three games. Connaughton will make his first start of the season. Jevon Carter is set to come off the bench.
Also starting for Milwaukee are Jrue Holiday, Grayson Allen, and Brook Lopez.
Meanwhile, for the Boston Celtics, team-leading scorer Tatum will again usher the offense. The 24-year-old is averaging 30.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game, while shooting 47.1% from the field.
