MANCHESTER, Sporting Alert – Manchester United are closing in on two more recruits, as Jose Mourinho looks to shape his current squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils are closing in on a transfer move for Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Borussia Dortmund after the two clubs finally agreed on a fee.

In fact, the 27-year-old Armenia midfielder, it is understood, has even agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford outfits, following talks with his representative over the weekend.

Mkhitaryan will undergo a medical exam within the next week, Sky Sports is claiming.

The Borussia Dortmund star is most comfortable playing as a right winger, but is also capable of playing on the left side, as well as operating as an attacking midfielder.

He moved to Dortmund from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013 for £23.5m.

Mkhitaryan tallied 18 goals and had 25 assists last campaign with the German club, and was named the Bundesliga Players’ Player of the Season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is also close to completing a move for former PSG, Barcelona and Inter Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to Sky Sports News HQ, Ibrahimovic is scheduled to have a medical with Premier League the giants next week, as Mourinho continues to build his own squad.

The Sweden forward, who retired from international football after his country’s group stage exit at Euro 2016 this month, has already agreed personal terms with Man United and has signed a one year contract.

Reports suggested that Ibrahimovic, who agreed to personal terms and a one-year deal prior to Euro 2016 after successful negotiations between his agent Mino Raiola and United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, wanted an agreement before the tournament started.

If deals for Mkhitaryan and Ibrahimovic are struck, they would become Mourinho’s third signing for the summer, following the capture of Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

Manchester United are also understood to be very interested in bringing back France midfielder Paul Pogba to Old Trafford.
