KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (NAIA Network – Click HERE) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and NeuLion have announced the video-streaming schedule for the 2014 Spring NAIA National Championships.
The following events will offer live video streaming on the NAIA Network located on www.NAIA.org: NAIA Tennis National Championships; NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships; NAIA Softball World Series and the Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series. There will be nearly 40 baseball and softball combined games, over 35 hours of track and field, and one day of tennis action available for the user.
Information on ESPN3 coverage on baseball will be announced during the week of May 19.
The championship finals of the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Tennis National Championships from Mobile, Ala., will be carried live on May 17. The entire day’s event is a free stream and begins at 9 a.m. CDT with the women’s final. The men’s championship is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. There will be three cameras covering the action, with live commentary providing highlights and recaps at the Mobile Tennis Center.
For the first time, the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships will be offered on the NAIA Network. The event will be hosted by the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Sports Commission from May 22 – 24 at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala. There will be four cameras covering the action with live commentary.
All 19 games from the NAIA Softball World Series in Columbus, Ga., will be offered to the fan. Competition begins on May 23 and goes through May 29 from the South Commons Softball Complex. The format is double-elimination with 10 teams competing for the 34th annual title. The Columbus Sports Council serves as the hosts for the second-straight year.
The Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series will be streamed on the NAIA Network from May 23 – 27 in Lewiston, Idaho. The first 16 games from Harris Field will be carried on the NAIA Network by clicking here. The semifinals and championship final from May 28 – 30 are scheduled to be carried live on ESPN3 – to get more ESPN3 information, click here. Ten teams, including host school Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), will battle it out in a double-elimination format from Harris Field.
