NBA LIVE On TNT: Denver Nuggets v Stephen Curry

April 30, 2013 by Ben Rummage | Staff Writer Leave a Comment

DENVER (Sporting Alert) — The Denver Nuggets face elimination from the NBA playoff when they take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in tonight’s Game 5 Western Conference First Round series at Pepsi Center in Colorado.

When: 8:00 PM ET, Tuesday, April 30, 2013
Where: Pepsi Center, Denver, Colorado
TV Channel: TNT, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area (Golden State), Altitude (Denver)

Golden State leads the seven game series 3-1 following the exciting 115-101 victory at Oracle Arena in Game 4 and a win Tuesday night would see them progressing to the Second Round.

“When they come down and just hit 3s when you’ve just crossed halfcourt, you can’t scheme around that. You can’t stop that,” Denver forward Kenneth Faried, who scored 15 points and seven rebounds said of the Warriors’ shooting streak in the last outing.

“We just have to find a way to not let them do that.”

He added though: “We do got them at home and I hope our crowd can get as loud as their crowd was. It was deafening.

“You really can’t hear much and their crowd really gets behind them. I respect that. Our crowd really gets behind us when we get going. Hopefully we can feed off ours and show them a thing or two.”

The Nuggets will be looking to Faried, Ty Lawson, Andre Iguodala and Andre Miller off the bench to help force a Game 6.
