The latest NBA results last night featured wins for the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, and the Miami Heat on Thursday night (12). The featured game on the night saw the Celtics beating the Brooklyn Nets 109-98, while in a double-overtime battle, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 119-115.

At the Barclays Center, Jayson Tatum delivered 20 points and 11 rebounds, and got support from Marcus Smart, who added 16 points and 10 assists and Malcolm Brogdon, who scored 16 points, and Boston pulled away to defeat the Nets in the Nets’ first game playing without the injured Kevin Durant.

Meanwhile, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Luka Doncic finished with 35 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists –his 56th career triple-double –and the Dallas Mavericks earned a 119-115 double-overtime victory over the Lakers.

Point guard Russell Westbrook scored a season-high 28 points and LeBron James ended with 24 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists for the LA Lakers, who have lost two straight.

In other NBA results last night, the Miami Heat beat Milwaukee Bucks 108-102, Cleveland Cavaliers had a 119-113 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder gave the Western Conference a win over the East by beating the Philadelphia 76ers 133-114, while the Toronto Raptors topped the Charlotte Hornets 124-114.
