OAKLAND, Calif. Sporting Alert – Golden State scored another win the NBA this season, while the Clippers, Spurs and Cavaliers also secured victories in the league on Monday, Dec. 28.

OAKLAND, Calif. — Steph Curry woke up from a slow start to grab a triple-double in the Golden State Warriors’ 122-103 win over the Sacramento Kings in an NBA score on Monday night. Box score

Curry, who failed to score for most of the first half after going 0-for-6, recovered to score 17-straight points to end the second quarter on his way to collecting 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for the Warriors (29-1) who improved to 15-0 at home this season.

Shooting guard Klay Thompson added 29 points and five rebounds and versatile forward Draymond Green poured in 25 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals for Golden State, which won five games in a row.

Ian Clark scored 12 points off the bench for the Warriors, who shot 48.3-percent from the field and 47.6-percent from 3-point range.

Omri Casspi led the way for the Kings with 36 points and six rebounds, Rudy Gay finished wit 17 points and eight boards and Darren Collison ended with 13 points, 11 assists and six rebounds off the bench for Sacramento (12-19).

Kings point guard Rajon Rondo, who leads the NBA in assists finished with just two helpers tonight in 18 minutes after both he and forward DeMarcus Cousins fell into early foul trouble in the opening quarter and sat out the entire second quarter.

Up next for the Kings is a home game against the struggling Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The Warriors will also be back in action on Wednesday when they visit the Dallas Mavericks.

FINAL NBA SCORE: CLIPPERS 108, WIZARDS 91

WASHINGTON — Chris Paul scored 23 points and DeAndre Jordan grabbed a double-double, and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Washington Wizards 108-91 in an NBA score Monday night.  Box score

Paul, who shot just 9 of 20 from the floor, also dished out seven assists and pulled down five rebounds in the win for Los Angeles.

Reserve guard Jamal Crawford added 21 on 9 of 12 shooting, including three 3-pointers, while Jordan went 6 of 6 from the field and 3 of 6 from the free-throw line en route to 15 points and 13 rebounds for the LA Clippers who were again without injured star forward Blake Griffin.

Cole Aldrich finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Clippers (19-13) who shot 52.6 percent and won three straight.

John Wall led Washington with 23 points and 11 assists and Otto Porter Jr. ended with 21 points and eight boards off the bench in the defeat for the Wizards (14-15) who had their four-game winning streak snapped.

Marcin Gortat added 12 points and 16 rebounds and Ramon Sessions also ending with 12 points for Washington, which played without starting guard Bradley Beal, as well as reserves Nene, Gary Neal and Drew Gooden.
