MIAMI (Sporting Alert) — Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs all suffered defeats in the NBA on Thursday, while the Portland Trail Blazers picked up a victory in their fixture.

NBA 2013-14 Conference Standings

Stephen Curry scored 36 points and 12 assists and David Lee added 32 points and 14 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors (21-13) beat the Miami Heat (24-8), 123-114 at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.

LeBron James led the Heat with 26 points and Dwyane Wade added 22 in the defeat for the two-time defending champions.

At the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Deron Williams scored 29 points for the Brooklyn Nets (11-21), which rallied to stun the Oklahoma City Thunder (25-7), 95-93.

Paul Pierce had 18 points and Alan Anderson finished with 13 for the Nets, which handed Oklahoma City back-to-back defeats for only the second time this season.

Kevin Durant paced the Thunder with 24 points, but the likes of Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson were not allowed to get going.

In San Antonio at the AT&T Center, the New York Knicks (10-21) surprised the Spurs (25-8), 105-101, with Carmelo Anthony returning from injury to score 27 points and 12 rebounds. Iman Shumpert also finished with career-high 27 points in the win for the Knicks.

Marco Belinelli led San Antonio with a game-high 32 points in the defeat.
