In the shocking result on the night, Al Jefferson scored 34 points and pulled down eight boards in the Charlotte Bobcats’ (28-33) picked up an upset 109-87 win over the Indiana Pacers (46-15).

At The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Joakim Noah grabbed a triple-double of 10 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds to help the Chicago Bulls (34-27) to a 105-94 victory over the Detroit Pistons (24-37). D.J. Augustin was the leading scorer for the Bulls with 26 points, with Taj Gibson adding 22, both doing so from reserved roles.

In other NBA scores on the night, Brooklyn (30-29) defeated the Memphis Grizzlies (34-26), 103-94 to move above .500 for the first time this season, with Joe Johnson leading the way with 21 points and Marcus Thornton adding 20 points in the win for the Nets.

The Portland Trail Blazers (42-19) scored a 102-78 win over the Atlanta Hawks (26-33), as Kyle Korver’s NBA-record streak of 127 games with a 3-pointer came to an end in the loss. Dwight Howard had a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds to help the Houston Rockets (42-19) to a 101-89 win over the Orlando Magic (19-44), while the Denver Nuggets (26-34) snapped a six-game losing streak with a come back 115-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks (36-26).

Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points to guide the New York Knicks (22-40) to a 118-106 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-30) and stop a seven-game skid.
