NCAA Top 25 Men’s Basketball Scores on Mar. 1

(Sporting Alert) — NCAA top 25 men’s basketball scores, results and records, following the list of games that took place on Saturday, Mar. 1.

On a day that featured several upsets, No. 2 Wichita State had no problems ending the regular season with a perfect 31-0 record after cruising past Missouri State (19-11) at home, 68-45.

“My teammates told me a couple weeks ago that my number was something special, because that’s how many games we could potentially win,” said Ron Baker, who scored 13 points in his final home game for Wichita State. Baker wear No. 31 for the Shockers.

“I didn’t put that together myself, but it’s very special. It’s going to be something I look back on forever.”

No. 1 Florida (27-2) picked up a 79-61 victory over LSU (17-11), but No. 4 Syracuse (26-3) suffered another setback, following a 75-56 defeat to No. 12 Virginia (25-5), which secured their first outright ACC regular-season championship crown in 33 years.

Elsewhere in NCAA top 25 men’s basketball scores, No. 5 Kansas (22-7) were stunned 72-65 by Oklahoma State (19-10), No. 7 Louisville (24-5) also fell 72-66 to No. 21 Memphis (22-7), while Xavier (20-9) scored a 75-69 victory over No.9 Creighton (23-5) and No. 10 Saint Louis (25-4) were beaten 67-56 by VCU (22-7).
