The result was Brazil’s third draw in the last four friendly international, with the only victory being a 4-0 crushing of Bolivia the last time out earlier this month.
Chile took an early lead on Tuesday night against the five-time world champions when Marcos Gonzalez headed home past Diego after César Cortés saw the ball bounced off his head and into the path of the defender.
However, Brazil drew level with a powerful header from Réver, following a corner kick taken by Neymar in the 25th minute.
Brazil then took the lead after the break when Neymar side-footed home into the bottom left corner of an empty net, but Eduardo Vargas tied the scores at 2-2 when he finished brilliantly past Diego for Chile’s second goal on the night with shot from outside the box.
Chile were also reduced to ten-man in the 90th minute of the game after Braulio Leal was sent off for dangerous play.
