BRONCOS 29, PACKERS 10
Peyton Manning passed for 340 yards and Denver’s defense frustrated Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay offense throughout the night in the Broncos’ 29-10 win over the Packers in Sunday Night Football.
Manning, who went 21 of 29 on passes, was picked off once on the night, while finishing with a 93.6 QBR, despite not throwing a touchdown pass, as Denver (7-0) stays undefeated and handed the Packers (6-1) its first loss of the season.
Ronnie Hillman ran for two scores and C.J. Anderson rushed 14 times for 101 yards and a touchdown for Denver (7-0).
Demaryius Thomas, who was active throughout the contest, caught eight balls for 168 yards in the win for the Broncos.
Meanwhile, Rodgers was 14 of 22 for a mere 77 yards, the lowest of his career for a full game.
The 31-year-old who finished with a 64.6 QBR, was sacked three times in the defeat as he struggled to connect with his receivers.
The Packers finished with just 140 yards of total offense, with Denver tallying 500, including 340 yards passing.
SAINTS 52, GIANTS 49
Drew Brees passed for career-bests of 511 yards and seven touchdowns, and the New Orleans Saints held off the New York Giants 52-49 in an NFL game on Sunday.
Brees, who completed 40 of 50 passes was tying an NFL record with his seven touchdown passes.
Down 49-42 in the fourth quarter, Brees found C.J. Spiller for a nine-yard touchdown to tie the game at 49-49, and Kai Forbath kicked a 50-yard field goal as time expired to seal the win for the Saints.
Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead each caught two touchdown passes, Benjamin Watson had nine catches for 147 yards and a touchdown and Marques Colston took eight catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in the win for New Orleans (4-4).
Meanwhile, Eli Manning completed 30 of 41 passes for 350 yards and six touchdowns for the Giants, while moving into the top 10 in the NFL for all-time TDs thrown.
Odell Beckham Jr. took eight of his nine targets for 130 yards with three touchdowns, while Dwayne Harris also taking two TD catches in the defeat for New York.
New Orleans had 614 total yards, with 511 going through the air.
BENGALS 16, STEELERS 10
Andy Dalton went 23 of 38 on passes for 231 yards and a late touchdown to help the Cincinnati Bengals to a 16-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and improved to 7-0 on the season.
Dalton, who threw two interceptions in the contest, found A.J. Green for a nine-yard score with 2:57 left and the Bengals took a 13-10 lead.
Mike Nugent kicked a 44-yard field goal as well to help keep the streak going for Cincinnati.
A.J. Green had five catches for 118 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Ben Roethlisberger passed for 262 yards, but was picked off three times, including twice in the fourth quarter for the Steelers.
CHIEFS 45, LIONS 10
WEMBLEY, England — Alex Smith passed for 145 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for another 78 yards and a score, and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Detroit Lions, 45-10 on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in England.
Charcandrick West rushed for 97 yards and a score on 20 carries, while Spencer Ware and De’Anthony Thomas also ran for scores for the Chiefs (3-5), who have won two in a row after losing five successive games.
Matthew Stafford went 22 of 36 on passes for 217 yards and a touchdown, but was sacked six times and threw three interceptions in the defeat for the Lions (1-7).
Calvin Johnson took five catches for 85 yards for Detroit, which dropped two in a row since winning their only game of the season against the Bears.
Kansas City led 24-3 at halftime.
