FALCONS 20, PANTHERS 13

There are no more undefeated teams left in the NFL.

ATLANTA — The Carolina Panthers (14-1) saw their bid to finish the season with a perfect record ended after losing for the first time this season, which also ended an 18 game winning streak in regular season games.

Matt Ryan passed for 306 yards and a touchdown, and the Atlanta Falcons handed the Panthers its first loss of the season with a 20-13 win at home on Sunday.

Julio Jones had nine catches for 178 yards and a 70-yard highlighted touchdown for the Falcons (8-7) who won two straight after snapping a six-game losing streak.

Cam Newton was held without a touchdown pass for the second time this term, and went 17 of 30 on completed passes for 142 yards. He rushed seven times for 46 yards and a score in the defeat for the Panthers, who were held to 113 passing yards and a total of 268 yards on offense.

Devonta Freeman rushed for 73 yards and a score for the Falcons.

Atlanta was avenging a 38-0 shutout loss to the Panthers in Week 14.

JETS 26, PATRIOTS 20 OT

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Eric Decker caught a pass for a six-yard touchdown to lift the New York Jets to a 26-20 win over the New England Patriots in overtime in the NFL on Sunday.

Both teams ended regulation knotted at 20-20.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went 26 of 41 on completed passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns and Brandon Marshall took eight catches for 115 yards for two touchdowns and the Jets (10-5) moved closer to securing a place in the playoffs.

Tom Brady completed 22 of 31 passes for 231 yards and one touchdown, and Rob Gronkowski caught four passes for 86 yards for the Patriots (12-3).

The Jets, who improved to 6-2 at home, tallied 428 total yards on offense, while holding the Patriots to 284 yards and just 63 yards rushing in the defeat.

CARDINALS 38, PACKERS 8

ARIZONA — Carson Palmer threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns and the Arizona Cardinals thrashed the Green Bay Packers 38-8 in the NFL on Sunday.

The veteran quarterback Palmer threw TD passes to Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown in the second quarter as the Cardinals took a 17-0 lead into the halftime break.

The home side then increased that lead to 31-0 in the third quarter as it outscored Green Bay 21-8 in the second half.

Michael Floyd took six of his eight catches for 111 yards for the Cardinals (13-2) who held the Packers to just 178 total yards on offense.

Arizona defense also sacked Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers eight times.

Rodgers was 15 of 28 for 151 yards and one touchdown for the Packers (10-5) who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
