NFL Scores From Week 6; Chiefs Lose, Giants Finally Win: Oct. 15

MIAMI, FL, Sporitng Alert — Latest NFL scores and results from Week 6, following the games that were played on Sunday, Oct. 15.

Week 6 saw the Pittsburgh Steelers snapping the undefeated run of the Kansas City Chief, while the New York Giants grabbed their first win of the season in front of a national audience.

Elsewhere, the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers both stayed winless on the season and fell to 0-6 records.

Kansas City, the only remaining undefeated team in the league entering Week 6, had its five-game win streak snapped after losing 19-13 to the Steelers.

Le’Veon Bell ran for 179 yards on 32 carries and a touchdown, while Antonio Brown had eight catches for 155 yards and a score for Pittsburgh in the win.

Ben Roethlisberger went 17 of 25 for 252 yards and a TD with an interception in the win for the Steelers (4-2), who held the Chiefs to just 251 total yards of offense.

Alex Smith passed for 246 yards and a touchdown for Kansas City (5-1), while leading rusher Kareem Hunt was held to just 21 yards on the ground on nine carries.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers are still searching for their first win of the season after failing again in Week 6.

The Brown started slowly against the Houston Texans and suffered a 33-17 defeat.

Rookie Deshaun Watson continued his impressive showing since being inserted into the starting lineup after he threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns to set an NFL record.

Watson, who completed 17 of 29 passes and connected with eight different Texans receiver, became the first rookie in NFL history with at least three TD passes in three straight games.

Watson has now thrown for 15 touchdowns this season for the Texans (3-3), which equals the number of TD passes by Brock Osweiler in 15 games last season.

Cleveland’s Kevin Hogan passed for 140 yards and a touchdown and was intercepted twice by Johnathan Joseph, who returned one of them 82 yards for a score early in the second quarter.

Also falling to 0-6 in Week 6 were the 49ers after they were edged 26-24 by the Washington Redskins (3-2).

Kirk Cousins threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns with one interception, ran for another score, and Chris Thompson caught four passes for 105 yards and ran for another 33 yards for the Redskins.

Carlos Hyde ran for two scores, Aldrick Robinson took two catches for 66 yards and a score in the defeat for San Francisco.

Rookie C.J. Beathard, who started over Brian Hoyer, threw for 245 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the 49ers.

In other NFL scores and news from Week 6, Eli Manning and the New York Giants avoided an 0-6 start and collected their first win of the season after they beat the Denver Broncos 23-10, while the Green Bay Packers were dealt a major blow after Aaron Rodgers broke his right collarbone in his team’s 23-10 defeat to the Minnesota Vikings.
