TAMPA, FL, Sporting Alert – No. 18 Michigan State and No. 19 Wisconsin are the ranked teams in action on Friday night’s College Football prime time live television schedule.
The eighteenth-ranked Spartans will open their season at home against Tulsa at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. Live streaming coverage of this game is on FoxSportsGo.com, while Fox Sports 1 USA will provide the live television coverage, starting at 7:00 pm ET.
Tonight’s game marks the first time Michigan State and Tulsa are meeting, while the home side starts as the big favorite to get the season underway on a winning note.
Tulsa, meanwhile, is being led by fifth-year head coach Philip Montgomery, who will be hoping to spring a surprise on the road with a victory over the Big Ten contenders.
A victory for the Spartans on Friday night would see them extending their winning streak of 20 straight games in its home openers since 1999 against Oregon.
That streak is tied for the fifth-longest active streak in the country behind Florida (29), Wisconsin and Oklahoma State (23), Illinois (21), while Arizona State has also won 20.
Meanwhile, the Golden Hurricane have not had a good run in eight meetings against Big Ten opponents, having gone 1-7 all-time from those fixtures.
At the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, No. 19 Wisconsin will battle against South Florida in a game that was delayed by weather.
This fixture initially was slated for 7:00 pm, but was pushed back to 7:55 due to rain.
ESPN will provide the live nationally broadcast of this game, while WatchESPN will have the streaming option online and via its App.
In another notable game on Friday night, Big 12 outfits Oklahoma State will travel to Reser Stadium in Corvallis, to face-off with Oregon State, live Fox Sports 1 USA and streaming on FoxSportsGo.com, starting at 10:30.
ESPN and WatchESPN will be your destination to follow the live coverage of Colorado State against Colorado, starting at 10:00.
