OLYMPIC FINAL-Brazil v Mexico: Starting Teams

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Brazil go in search of its first Olympic soccer gold medal when they take on Mexico in the top podium contest on Saturday afternoon at Wembley Stadium.

The South American giants have been dominant so far in the tournament and will start as favorites to win the gold medal – something that has long been on the hopes of all Brazilian fans.

On Saturday, the Thiago Silva led side will also includes the skillful Oscar, Borges Romulo, Sandro, Neymar and Leandro Damiao, with Hulk being dropped to the bench.

Alexandre Pato and Lucas Moura are also amongst the substitutes today.

Meanwhile, Mexico have been impressive in the tournament as well and will be very tough to beat.

Even without top striker Javier Hernandez, the CONCACAF side has found ways to score goals on a regular although the in form Giovani dos Santos starts on the bench.

Goalkeeper and leader Jose Corona may have a big part to play in this game as well.
