PRESEASON: ESPN, WatchESPN: Brooklyn at Boston, Chicago at Oklahoma City Live

(SPORTING ALERT) — The following is a list of NBA preseason games on the schedule for Wednesday night, Oct. 23.

With the regular season set to tip-off next week, most teams are busy going through their final preparations ahead of he start of those fixtures.

After resting Kevin Durant in the defeat to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder will recall the All-Star and scoring machine forward for tonight’s game with the Chicago Bulls, who continue to look good with star point guard Derrick Rose back to full fitness.

The Boston Celtics (1-6) continue to struggle under new head coach Brad Stevens in preseason, and Wednesday night they face a new-look Brooklyn Nets (4-1) team which will field two former players, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.

Another good fixture on the night is expected to come from the New Orleans Arena, where the undefeated Pelicans (6-0) take on the defending NBA champions Miami Heat (4-2).

Elsewhere, the Utah Jazz (1-5) are at STAPLES Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers (4-2), with the Golden State Warriors (3-2) going to Sleep Train Arena to face the Sacramento Kings (3-2).
