Arsene Wenger’s side is coming off a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City last week and will be hoping for a quick bounce-back with a win at the Hong Kong Stadium.

Several key players, including summer signings strikers Olivier Giroud and Luka Podolski will miss the game, with the wantaway captain Robin van Persie also left at home.

But Wenger says this was a perfect time for the younger upcoming players, such as Chuks Aneke, to shine and he believes there are some signs showing.

“We have some young players who are already experienced, for example if I tell you Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, you will tell me he is not young but he is 18 years old,” Wenger told a press conference in Hong Kong.

“On tour we have Chuks Aneke who has shown quality and of course Ryo. We also have younger players who are 16 or 17, who are not with us on tour, who will certainly appear this season.

“We are faithful to what we want to do whicih is to promote young players and give them a chance at that level.”

Arsenal will play Nigeria (Abukja) on Aug. 5, before wrapping up the preseason at Cologne on Aug. 12 when must of the first team players will be on show.
