PREVIEW: Arsenal vs Chelsea

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Arsenal are finally beginning look like title winning side and Arsene Wenger’s men will face another stern test on Saturday when they host leaders Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League at Emirates Stadium.

The Game will be Live on ESPN 2 and ESPN3.com @ 7:30 AM ET

Coming off a very exciting 1-1 draw with defending champions Manchester City, Arsenal head into the contest full of confidence.

At the same time though, Gunners defender Thomas Vermaelen says the hosts will be mindful of the threat they possess with their new playing style.

“Chelsea have a lot of good technical players in their side, and I think they’ve changed the style of their game a bit,” he said on Arsenal.com.

“They seem more attack-minded now, with players like Eden Hazard, Oscar and Juan Mata all looking dangerous. Fernando Torres is a threat with his movement too.

“That said, they’re still based on the strong foundations that people associate them with – players like John Terry, Ashley Cole and Branislav Ivanovic have a lot of experience and make them very strong at the back.”

Vermaelen missed the clash against Manchester City, but should be back from a virus.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is expected to name Terry as his captain for the game, despite the negative news surrounding him at the moment.

Game Prediction: Arsenal 2, Chelsea 1
