(Sporting Alert) — Queens Park Rangers (QPR) scored four second half goals and went on to comfortably beat Malaysian champions Kelantan FC 5-0 on Friday night.

Midfielder Adel Taarabt gave the Barclays Premier League side a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute of play, which the team took into the break.

After the half-time interval the goals came rushing in with striker Bobby Zamora being amongst the scorers after coming on as a substitute in the second 45 minutes.

Michael Harriman scored in the 53rd minute to start the ball rolling the second half, with Jamie Mackie, Zamora and Heidar Helguson all getting on the scorers sheet.

Meanwhile, forward Djibril Cisse was forced to leave the pitch midway through the first half with what appeared to be a hamstring problem.

Goalkeeper Rob Green was handed his QPR debut in tonight’s winning game.

QPR: Green, Fabio, Ferdinand, Hill, Traore, Mackie, Diakite, Ephraim, Wright-Phillips, Taarabt, Cisse.
