LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Laurent Koscielny is expected to return for Arsenal on Saturday for the Barclays Premier League trip to QPR at Loftus Road.
The Arsenal centre-back is available again after recovering from a knee problem and manager Arsene Wenger says he is could feature.
“Normally he will back. He has a test with the team later today,” Wenger said on Arsenal.com.
“But he had one yesterday and it looks positive.
“It is 90 per cent yes. So at QPR it should be the same squad.”
However, midfielder Abou Diaby is still suffering from a hamstring injury and will not be risked on Saturday.
“There was a little pain in training yesterday so we will not expose him. It is nothing serious, we are just being cautious,” Wenger revealed.
Meanwhile, striker Djibril Cisse will begin his four-match ban, so he won’t be available for QPR.
Arsenal are currently in third place in Barclays Premier League table standings, while QPR are battling for survival on 25 points and in the red zone.
