Since losing to the New England Patriots in Week 1, the Steelers (2-1) have won three straight and are coming off a tight 12-6 victory over the St. Louis Rams last weekend.

However, starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 75.3 percent of his passes for 912 yards for a 91.3 QBR in his almost three games – picked up a knee injury during the Rams contest and will be out for about six weeks, this according to NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport.

He now joins Dallas Cowboys’ Tony Romo, Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints, and Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears as the highlighted quarterbacks currently on the sidelines.

This means veteran Michael Vick, who replaced Roethlisberger in the late stages of the Rams game on Sunday, will get his first start of the season. He completed 5 of 6 passes for 38 yards when finishing up Sunday’s game.

While Pittsburgh goes in search of its best start since 2010 when starting 3-1 through four games, the Ravens (0-3) – still searching for its first game of the season – will try to stop its disastrous skid on the term thus far.

Baltimore travels to the Steelers already suffering defeats to the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. has been one of the highlighted players so far for the Ravens and he is expected to continue to be fruitful in Week 4.

The 36-year-old is coming off a 186 yards and two touchdowns performance against the Bengals and fantasy team owners could score big if they opt to have him in their starting teams.

Smith is ranked third in the NFL this campaign in yards, with 349 and third in the league in receptions yards per game, at 116.3.

Despite their struggles in the first three weeks of the regular season, VegasInsider.com is backing the Ravens as 3-point favourites against the Steelers, with the game total at 44.

CBS Sports experts are also backing Baltimore to end the poor run.

I guess they have no faith in Vick leading the Steelers on offense.

The Ravens were a -2-point favorite against the Bengals in the last outing, but failed to cover in the match.
