READING (Sporting Alert) — Stand-in boss Bryan Kidd makes four changes from the Manchester City team that was shocked by Wigan in the FA Cup final on Saturday for Tuesday night’s English Premier League clash with Reading at The Madejski Stadium.
Manchester City, who fired manager Roberto Mancini after that defeat at the weekend, face a Reading team tonight that has already been relegated from the EPL and is only playing for pride.
Coming into the starting team are Joleon Lescott and Kolo Toure, who start in the back, while James Milner and Micah Richards also come in.
Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero lead the attack with Gareth Barry and David Silva also starting.
Reading remained unchanged from the side that picked up a 4-2 win over Fulham in their last EPL outing.
Samir Nasri, Edin Dzeko and Jack Rodwell are amongst the substitutes.

Manchester City have also confirmed that assistant manager David Platt has declined a news offer from the club and instead will join out going boss Mancini in leaving the club.
“With regret Manchester City announce that David Platt has this afternoon left his role as Assistant Manager at the Club,” a statement on City’s website said.
“David was offered the opportunity to continue his work with us but has declined the invitation. He has decided to leave his role with his close friend Roberto Mancini.
“David has made a significant contribution to the Club’s success since joining in 2010 and we wish him well with his career wherever that now takes him.”
