MADRID (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has made two changes to starting team that played in the first-leg of tonight’s Champions League semi-final second leg clash with Borussia Dortmund at Santiago Bernabeu.

Former Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric and Michael Essien come into the starting line-up.

Modric replaces Sami Khedira to add more creativity in the midfield, while Essien plays at right-back with Pepe dropped to the bench.

Madrid are without regular full-backs Alvaro Arbeloa and Marcelo, who miss the game because of injuries.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be on striker Robert Lewandowski, who scored all four goals for Borussia Dortmund in the first leg.

Lewandowski, one of the most targeted strikers in Europe, plays up top again with the support of Mario Gotze, who will leave for Bayern Munich in the summer and Marco Reus.

Borussia Dortmund lead Real Madrid 4-1 after the stunning win last week.
