MADRID (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho named his 19-man squad for Saturday’s Spanish La Liga clash against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

The team includes Iker Casillas and Diego López, but Mourinho revealed that the latter will start in goal,

Midfielders Kaka, Mesut Ozil, Luka Modric, as well as the on form goalscoring machine Cristiano Ronaldo are also in the squad.

Real Madrid completed its final training session earlier today ahead of the clash and Mourinho says he’s expecting a tough game against Real Betis. quoted him as saying, “They are a very good team with good players, a good manager, a good attitude and they are set up to win games away from home.

“They defend well as a team, they attack at pace, they have great individual players going forward…They are a very good team.

“It is a difficult game and I’m glad; I want them to finish well, but I hope that we can get a good result tomorrow.”

Commenting on who would be starting in goal, Mourinho said, “Casillas will be on the bench tomorrow. Diego will play, but he is fully fit to play.

“It should come as no surprise if Casillas plays one day because he is fully fit.

“It is ideal for me and for everyone that we have two fully fit goalkeepers like these and two good young keepers behind them.”
