Real Madrid looks for sixth consecutive league win against Real Betis

(Sporting Alert) — Luka Modric was left on the bench by manager Jose Mourinho for Real Madrid’s Spanish La Liga clash against Real Betis at Manuel Ruiz de Lopera.

Also on the bench for tonight’s game is midfield playmaker Kaka, while Germany star Mesut Ozil starting the match.

Sami Khedira, Xabi Alonso and Ángel Di María will also operate in midfield with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema expected to provide the most attacks for the defending champions.

Real Madrid, who have started the season slowly, will be looking to close the gap to five points on leaders Barcelona with a win tonight, as Barca doesn’t play until Sunday.

Arsenal FC on loan Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell is amongst the players on the substitutes bench for Real Betis.
