MADRID (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid went through its final preparation ahead of the La Liga clash with Rayo Vallecano in the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho’s side is coming off a 1-1 draw with English Premier League side Manchester United on Wednesday and goalkeeper Diego Lopez, who was impressive during that game is bracing for another tough encounter.
He said on RealMadrid.com: “The most important think right now is Rayo. A La Liga match that we have to win.
“Rayo is extremely dangerous, they play well, they’re courageous and they have a good dynamic. We’ll have to play well to win.”
Meanwhile, Mourinho has named his 19 member squad for the clash tomorrow, which kicks-off at the Bernabéu at 9:00 p.m. It’s Live on Canal+ 1.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil, Fabio Coentrao and Michael Essien were all named in the team.
Real Madrid trail leaders Barcelona by 16 points in the La Liga standings.
