LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid reportedly want to keep hold of Alvaro Morata, despite the striker being heavily linked with a move to English Premier League (EPL) leaders Arsenal in the January transfer window.
Arsenal are short handed in the forward department, and manager Arsene Wenger has been actively looking to add another option up front, either by a loan or a permanent deal.
It is being strongly reported this week, and even more so on Wednesday, that Arsenal are working hard behind the scenes to try and bring Morata to London.
However, the Independent is reporting that Real Madrid are keen to keep the Spanish striker, with manager Carlo Ancelotti looking to keep all his players in an attempt to win all the trophies they are currently battling for.
