Ronaldo starts for Portugal against Russia

(Sporting Alert) — Cristiano Ronaldo is fit to start for Portugal in today’s World Cup European Qualifying Group F game against Russia at Luzhniki Stadium.

The Game is being streamed live on ESPN3.com and is also on ESPN2.

The Real Madrid winger was doubtful because of a left shoulder injury he picked up during the 2-2 draw with Barcelona on Sunday, but has recovered on time to start.

Also starting the game for Portugal is Manchester United winger Nani, with Helder Postiga, Joao Moutinho, Fabio Coentrao and Pepe all starting as well.

Aleksandr Kerzhakov will lead the attack for Russia, with Roman Shirokov, Vladimir Bystrov, Viktor Fayzulin and Aleksandr Kokorin all included as well.
